About
A dedicated Women's sportswear & dress designer with decorated experience in the apparel industry, I love to infuse a positive and collaborative mentality into my work.
My goal as a designer is to focus on creating cohesive, trend-right collections that reflect each customer’s brand, while utilizing my business and presentation skills in the ever-evolving fashion landscape. And of course, I love to have fun - isn’t that why we do this?
Over the years I've had the honor of designing for numerous iconic American sportswear companies, such as Ralph Lauren, Maurices and Macy’s, in addition to collaborating on contemporary collections for renowned brands as Vera Wang, Vena Cava and French Connection.
These experiences have helped me develop crucial apparel industry acumen: i.e. driving design initiatives between Management, Sales, FD&R and Sourcing departments; traveling & communicating with overseas factories and vendors; and collaborating on garment construction with local patternmakers & sample rooms.
Outside the office, I've led volunteer efforts with non-profit organizations Street Project and Citymeals on Wheels. I also mentor aspiring designers through programs via the Fashion Scholarship Foundation and (my alma mater!) Kent State University, where I currently serve as advisory panelist and on an individual base for current & graduating students.
When I’m not designing, mentoring or shopping, I can most likely be found at the neighborhood pop-up market, playground or restaurant with family & friends.
